Responsibilities :
The ideal candidate will also have experience or understanding of:
1. Experience with design and development of Web services is desirable
2. Working knowledge of Software development methodologies and UML is desirable
3. Sun Certified Web Component Developer certification is desirable
4. Sun Certified Business Component Developer certification is desirable
5. Working knowledge of the Scrum framework for project management is desirable
Candidate Profile:
Skills:
1. Experience with Groovy, Grails and JSF (Java Server Faces) is strongly preferred
2. 0-2 years of extensive experience in design, development and testing of web-based enterprise systems using J2EE technologies (JDBC, Servlets, JSP, JMS, EJB,DAO)
3. Experience with client side web development languages (JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS)
4. Experience with one or more application servers (Oracle AS, Tomcat, Weblogic)
5. Experience with build tools, development environments and IDE's (Eclipse)
6. Experience with one or more Source Code software (Subversion)
7. Experience with test driven development, design, documentation and review of tests
8. Experience with Oracle database
9. Good working knowledge of data modeling, SQL and PL/SQL
10. Experience with unit testing tools and frameworks such as JUnit
11. Experience with XML; concept, transformation, tools (XSD, XSLT)
12. A quick learner with the ability to handle development tasks with minimum or no supervision
13. Should have the ability to work and contribute beyond defined responsibilities
14. Ability to multi task
15. Experience with working on small to medium sized development teams from project definition through implementation
16. Excellent English and strong communication skills a must
